The job is full-time and well-paid. Our ideal candidate is driven, loves our sport, and wants to make a difference. In addition to our general program for Masters, we specifically assist veterans, underprivileged girls, and disabled individuals as well as work in schools through an Erg Ed grant from the Pocock Rowing Foundation and USRowing. This position will mainly focus on growing our junior girls’ program; there will be an opportunity to help in other areas as time allows.
We will have elections, reports from USRowing, various committees, championship/regatta dates, rules changes, masters and junior (youth) discussions - vital information about changes for 2019 and workshops. Will have an update about the new course on Vancouver Lake as well as our own treasurer's report.
Great job for a young, enthusiastic coach looking to help make a difference, work with a men's and women's team, grow a program, and learn all the things about coaching. Beating the bushes looking for any young talent looking to move to a full time position.
