NWRC Awards
USRowing member organizations* may vote vote for the winners of the awards, which will be presented at our awards event to be held on February 28 at Lake Union Crew.
The nominees are:
- Competitor of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Significant Contributor of the Year

Next Meeting of the NWRC
The next meeting of the Northwest Rowing Council will be on January 30, 2010, after Ergomania. Time and venue TBA.

The bylaws of the Northwest Rowing Council and minutes of recent meetings are linked to the NWRC page. Please take a look at them. According to the new By-Laws, organizations not present at the meeting have 48 hours after the minutes are posted to vote on any motions made at the meeting.

In hopes of keeping the waterways near the University of Washington safe under the increasing stress of more and more rowers, the coaches are posting this map of UW traffic patterns. This plan has been in practice for over 30 years.All eight of the Husky practice squads will be accompanied by safety launches.
